<p> The Manchester Band Parents Association Scholarship - 2016 Due May 12, 2016</p><p>The Manchester Band Parents Association Scholarship is an annual monetary award given to a senior member (or members) of the Manchester High School Band. The scholarship is a one-time payment intended to recognize and give financial assistance to a graduating band member (or members) who plans to further their education after high school.</p><p>The scholarship selection committee will include the two MHS band directors, and may include an MHS administrator and members of the MBPA Executive Board.</p><p>Interested senior band members should complete an application prior to May 12, 2016.</p><p>The award recipient(s) must:</p><p>Have participated in the MHS Band Program for at least three years.</p><p>Be in excellent academic standing at Manchester High School</p><p>Have a history of musical excellence and growth during the high school band experience.</p><p>Be continuing on to an institution of higher learning next year. (proof of acceptance required)</p><p>Be able to document leadership in the band program.</p><p>Be able to document a record of outstanding service to the MHS Band.
