The Manchester Band Parents Association Scholarship - 2016 Due May 12, 2016

The Manchester Band Parents Association Scholarship is an annual monetary award given to a senior member (or members) of the Manchester High School Band. The scholarship is a one-time payment intended to recognize and give financial assistance to a graduating band member (or members) who plans to further their education after high school.

The scholarship selection committee will include the two MHS band directors, and may include an MHS administrator and members of the MBPA Executive Board.

Interested senior band members should complete an application prior to May 12, 2016.

The award recipient(s) must:

Have participated in the MHS Band Program for at least three years.

Be in excellent academic standing at Manchester High School

Have a history of musical excellence and growth during the high school band experience.

Be continuing on to an institution of higher learning next year. (proof of acceptance required)

Be able to document leadership in the band program.

Be able to document a record of outstanding service to the MHS Band. The Manchester Band Parents Association Scholarship (Please submit completed application to an MHS band director)
