<p> Elon University Chapter NATIONAL ORDER OF OMEGA Membership Application Form</p><p>The Order of Omega was founded at Miami University (Ohio) in 1959 by a group of Greek leaders who felt that individuals in the Greek community should be recognized for their service to the fraternity system and the university. Each spring Elon University’s Order of Omega chapter initiates three percent of the Greek population or 15 members, which ever is greater.</p><p>Requirements for Membership Scholastic performance, class status, and leadership achievements determine membership in The Order of Omega. Candidates for membership must: 1. Have a cumulative grade point average at or above the all-Greek average; 2. Have demonstrated commitment and leadership within their chapter and on campus; 3. Have Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Alumni status; and 4. Be in good standing with their fraternal organization.</p><p>Please neatly type or print this application.
