Ambrose reports that police arrested an armed suspect fleeing a fatal shooting in the 800-block of South 16th Street tonight.</p><p>Shortly after 9 p.m., responding officers observed an armed suspect fleeing the scene of the shooting and apprehended him. </p><p>Detectives are determining whether the suspect is responsible for the homicide, which is being investigated by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force.</p><p>###</p>
