An adaptation will typically have a similar plot as the original story (problem and solution); however, the adaptation may change the language used and/or the setting of the story (time and place) in order to make the story more modern.</p><p> Requirements</p><p>1. Your adaptation will be in the form of a graphic novel.</p><p>2. Your graphic novel will include: </p><p> a. Plot of the story or part of the story: exposition, character introduction, conflict, and important events</p><p> b. Graphics</p><p> c. Dialogue : speech/thought bubbles</p><p> d. Structures: Panels, frames and gutters.</p><p> e. Cover </p><p>Grade 6 Reading Summer 2013 Baltimore County Public Schools DRAFT Office of Secondary English Language Arts [Type text] [Type text] 3. The overall plot of the scene should be similar to the original version and must include the same characters.</p><p>4. Your adaptation should be organized appropriately based on what you have learned about graphic novels.</p><p>5.
