<p> Carroll County</p><p>HBCU (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) Alumni Association</p><p>Scholarship</p><p>The Carroll County HBCU Alumni Association (CCHBCUAA) Scholarships are awarded annually to graduating seniors from a high school within Carroll County who will attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Application deadline is March 31 st.</p><p>Eligibility Requirements:</p><p> Graduating senior from a high school located within Carroll County</p><p> Have a minimum 3.3 grade point average</p><p> Accepted and will attend a Historically Black College or University</p><p>Applicants must submit:</p><p> Completed application</p><p> Current school transcript</p><p> Three letters of recommendation (one must be from a school teacher/administrator and one must be from a member of the community)</p><p> A type-written essay of 500 words or less expressing their goals and aspirations and explaining the benefits of attending a HBCU and why they desire to attend.</p><p>The CCHBCUAA will award one to four scholarships annually, ranging from $300 to $500 based on number of recipients and available funds.</p><p>Please mail your completed application to:</p><p>Carroll County HBCU Alumni Association, Inc.
