<p> NORTH CAROLINA MAP PROJECT</p><p>In order to learn about our state you will need to complete a map project about North Carolina. It is important to know about the state that you live in. I have given you a blank map of North Carolina. I would like for you to fill out the following on your map and color it according to the directions. Please color very light so I can read what you have written on your map. You may use your social studies book and/or the internet to help you find the information you need. </p><p>-Label the 100 counties in the correct location on the map. You may have to write small to fit some names in the space.</p><p>-Label our state capital Raleigh, in Wake County</p><p>-Label the Mountain Region right under the counties and color the region light green</p><p>-Label the Piedmont Region right under the counties and color the region light orange, except for Yadkin County and Wake County-color them yellow</p><p>-Label the Coastal Region right under the counties and color the region light purple</p><p>-Label the bordering ocean and color it blue</p><p>-Label the four surrounding states and color as follows: Virginia-red Tennessee-brown Georgia-pink South Carolina-yellow</p><p>This project is due October 10th.</p>
