At last somebody threw out a life-belt to them which landed close by them. 12. It was not big enough for both of them to hold on to for a long time. 13. When the ship was closer it slowed down to let a rope-ladder. 14. The men's fingers were so cold they did not catch the ladder the first few times. 15. The finally succeeded. 16. One started to climb the ladder while the other stayed in the sea. 17. In the end they both arrived safely on board. 18. The crew gave them Some dry clothes. 19. The cook made special soup. 20.
