The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is funded by an annual collection taken up in churches throughout the United States designed to assist local charities advocating for institutional and legislative changes that advance opportunities for the poor.</p><p>Typical grants awarded range from $500 - $1,000. Applicants must be non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations operating within any of the following counties: Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, Polk, and Tyler.
