<p> "47 Years of Choral Excellence!" Huntsville All-City Choral Festival 2012</p><p>Dear parents and students: (PLEASE READ COMPLETELY AND SAVE SOMEWHERE)</p><p>I am delighted to inform you that your child passed the audition for the All City Choral Festival and will be a participant in this year’s Festival. The festival is sponsored by the Huntsville Choral Directors Association (HCDA). Two outstanding choral directors have been invited to serve as guest conductors for this year’s festival and concert. The concert will be Tuesday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church on Governors Drive.</p><p>A Festival Fee of $25.00 is due by October 25th. Payments are to made out to ACP (Academy Choral Parents) They will make a check out to HCDA at the festival for your child to participate. These fees help cover student medals, guest conductor expenses, and concert facility use. By charging this fee there is no admission charge into the concert. </p><p>Please make sure you check the rehearsal schedule for when you pick up or drop off your child, because sometimes they will be picked up or dropped off by a school bus. It can get a little confusing, so make sure your keep this on your fridge. </p><p>The following choirs will perform:</p><p>6th Grade Treble Choir Sixth grade girls and boys Middle School Mixed Choir Seventh grade girls and middle school boys with changed voices 8th & 9th Grade Girls Choir 8th & 9th Grade Girls High School Mixed Choir 10th-12th Grade Girls & all high school boys</p><p>Monday, October 28 Bus to church from AAA 1:00-3:30 parent pick up 6th & 7th grade girls and all boys</p><p>Parents take and pick up 6:00-9:00 8th grade girls and all high school</p><p>Tuesday, October 29 Parents drop off at 7:50 am 8:00-11: 00 bus to AAA 6th & 7th grade girls and all boys</p><p>11:00-11:30 Battle Hymn rehearsal (all students except 8th grade girls)</p><p>8th GIRLS parents will pick them up from AAA 1:00-3:30 Parents pick up@church. 8th grade girls and all high school</p><p>Tuesday, October 29 7:00 ALL CITY CONCERT Students report to their seats at 6:30. All students should wear their choir uniforms.</p><p>ATTENDANCE POLICY- Because there will be no rehearsals prior to the actual All-City Festival, it is imperative that students be present for the entire festival at First Baptist in order to rehearse with the clinicians and sing in the concert. Students must sing in the concert to receive a medal.
