Updated committee membership and responsibilities. Forward to College Council for approval (document)</p><p>2. 2014-15 Actuals – SCC Budget Report 6-30-2015 (document) Committee reviewed $1.6M shortfall. SCC has been carrying-over $1.5M shortfall for several years a) Ask RSCCD for funds to cover shortfall b) College absorbed rollover each year and still has a deficit of $1.6M c) College asked District Council for a one-time fund allocation (from $16$M state allocation) to clear deficit</p><p>2. When applicable, categorical funds and other funding sources will be used in all instances before general fund expenditures. Such action will be proposed to College Council to help address the general funds deficit.</p><p>3. College Budget Assumptions, continued</p><p> Fully funding adjunct budget Fully funding operations expenses (Tentative Budget: 38% level Adopted Budget: 100% level) In accordance with BAM (Budget Allocation Model), the Budget Committee will pursue creating a college contingency fund. A 1% reserve is appx. $380,00</p><p>4.
