<p> Important Dates for SEFEL Sites February 2017</p><p>Annual Data Collection and Paperwork</p><p>1. The Yearly Program Review (YPR) is due by June 30 – This is the data collection tool SEFEL sites submit at the end of the school year. The YPR can be accessed by logging on at this link: http://eln- sefel.fpg.unc.edu The SEFEL Practice Profile can help to guide your scoring of the YPR. It’s available at this link: http://nceln.fpg.unc.edu/sefel-resources-leadership-team You will need to have your 2016-2017 SEFEL Implementation Plan handy for reference as you fill out the YPR.</p><p>2. Beginning- and End-of-the-year TPOT scores should be entered into the online system by June 30. – You can access the system here: http:// eln-sefel.fpg.unc.edu</p><p>3. TS GOLD Growth Reports are due by June 30 – Those SEFEL Sites using TS GOLD email their growth reports to [email protected]. You can find instructions at this link -- TS-Gold Instructions</p><p>4. A DRAFT 2017-2018 SEFEL Program Implementation Plan and DRAFT Spending Plan are due by June 30. Your DRAFT Spending Plan is based on your DRAFT Implementation Plan. There will be an opportunity to make changes to the plans in September if needed. We are working on developing an online format that you can use to submit the Implementation Plan. A reminder and instructions will be sent out prior to the deadline date. </p><p>5. The signed Assurances document is due by September 30. SEFEL sites should email their signed Assurances document to [email protected]. The document will be sent to you prior to the deadline date.</p><p>Upcoming Professional Development Events</p><p>Regional Coaches Meetings – (Regions 1&2 and Regions 5&6: March 27; Regions 3&4 and Regions 7&8: March 29) – intended for current and future SEFEL coaches to help improve their observation and coaching skills and to provide resources and ideas for coaching through networking with other SEFEL sites. The meetings are held in four different regions so that coaches can attend at a venue that is geographically convenient for them. The details from a 2016 Regional Coaches Meeting can be found here: http://nceln.fpg.unc.edu/events/regional- coaches-meetings-regions-1-2</p><p>SEFEL Tier II Training – June 20-21 in Burlington, NC-– intended for administrators, SEFEL Leadership Team members, Preschool Behavior Support Team members, coaches, and teachers who are implementing SEFEL </p><p>NC EARLY LEARNING NETWORK IS A JOINT PROJECT OF THE NC DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION, OFFICE OF EARLY LEARNING AND UNC FRANK PORTER GRAHAM CHILD DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE Important Dates for SEFEL Sites February 2017</p><p> strategies. The content will cover a process for implementing Tier II strategies, including data collection and progress monitoring. </p><p>Mindful Coaching Training- September 19-20, 2017 in Burlington, NC– intended for new and future SEFEL coaches. Details from the 2016 training can be found here: http://nceln.fpg.unc.edu/node/1957</p><p>TPOT (Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool) Training – TBD – intended for SEFEL coaches to learn how to properly administer the TPOT by conducting the classroom observation, completing the teacher interview, and scoring the TPOT.
