Cristina Molinari, Principal Library Assistant, was out on sick leave during the

2 late summer and early Fall. With the retirement of Lois Purcell, June 30, 2007, there is currently a vacancy for a Technical Library Assistant.

Librarian

Chung Lone continued as acting head of the Multi-Media Resources Department. She continues to catalog music and media. The consolidation of the cataloging and processing of media materials within the media department has worked out quite well. Happily, a successful second search was performed and resulted in the promotion of Su Hu to Head of Collection Development and Acquisitions in April, 2007.

Reference Duties

Mei Ling Chow continued to work at the reference desk on a regular schedule of two hours a week during the Fall and Spring semesters. In addition, Su Hu joined the reference schedule of two hours per week in Fall 2006.

Microform Sets

Continuing the initiative from last year, bibliographic records were purchased from OCLC and loaded into the Library’s catalog.
