Required at seeding (Lbs/Ac-% cover):</p><p>On irrigated crops, the crop residue may be incorporated into the soil before the end of the critical erosion period if other planned measures will control erosion. This may be the green growth of the next crop.</p><p>Average pounds of air dry residue produced by crops. The following estimates of average residue amounts produced by crops can be used as a guide for successful implementation of a residue management program.</p><p>Crops producing residue: Residue Amt.(Lbs/Ac):</p><p>1 of 2 Percent of Residue Maintained by Various Tillage Operations: Tillage during the management period shall be limited to methods that maintain the needed residue on the surface.
