<p> KAPOS State Warm-up Area Information</p><p>1. Items that will be provided by KAPOS in the warm-up area:</p><p> a. Trainer – for medical and injury issues only. The trainer is not there to tape ankles, etc. This should be taken care of PRIOR to entering warm-up area.</p><p> b. Sound system with CD and cassette tape player. No other jam boxes will be permitted in the warm-up area. You will have a sound check after being called to the performance mat.</p><p>2. Because of liability issues NO CHILDREN are allowed in the warm-up area. Only coaches listed on the KAPOS Middle and Elementary School Competition entry form can come to the warm-up area with the teams. </p><p>PLEASE DO NOT ASK WARM-UP DIRECTOR TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION. BECAUSE OF LIABILITY ISSUES AND INSURANCE COVERAGE, NO EXCEPTIONS CAN BE MADE.</p><p>3. Cheerleaders should be dressed upon entering the warm-up area. Please do not bring gym bags because of limited space.</p><p>4. Enter the warm-up area through the door marked for Cheerleader Entrance. </p><p>5. Teams will be escorted straight from the warm-up area to the performance area for holding and on deck.</p><p>6. Be ready to enter the warm-up area at least 10 minutes prior to your warm-up time. Be sure to check on Friday before you come for last minute changes in warm-up times. </p><p>7. Coaches should have cheerleaders use the bathroom PRIOR to beginning the warm-up process. There will not be time during warm-up and the clock cannot be stopped once you enter the warm-up area.</p><p>8. Warm-up room order:</p><p> a. Pictures – 8 minutes (PLEASE have your pose ready to take photo.)</p><p> b. Sign In – 4 minutes (Will highlight COMPETING team members on insurance form)</p><p> c. Warm up Mat 1 – 4 minutes</p><p> d. Warm-up Mat 2 - 4 minutes</p><p> e. Full mat – 4 minutes</p><p> f. On deck – 4 minutes</p><p> g.
