<p> MILWAUKEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS DIVISION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING </p><p>High School Math Summit All 8th grade mathematics and all high school mathematics teachers are encouraged to attend this important event. This conference will provide each school a springboard for planning the 2007-08 mathematics goals. This conference will also bring together teachers and administrators as the Milwaukee Mathematics Partnership presents the game plan to aggressively tackle our student achievement problems in high school. </p><p>Who: High School and 8th Grade Mathematics Teachers</p><p>When: Saturday, June 2, 2007</p><p>Time: 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Teachers will be compensated at Where: Bradley Tech High School their hourly rate. 700 South 4th Street</p><p>Sessions: You will choose 4 sessions that you would like to attend. 1. Assessment Feedback 2. Effective Use of Think Link Benchmarks 3. 8th – 9th Grade Assessment Pilot 4. Instructional Strategies 5. ALEKS 6. New Math Teachers 7. Special Education & Math 8. Stats Short Course 9. Geometry Short Course 10.Smart Board 11. Algebra and Geometry Connections to Upper Level Mathematics 12.
