<p> CMM Programmer I Job Description</p><p>MPP#: Pay Family: Hourly, Non-exempt Manager: Tube & Duct Assembly Business Leader Band: 4 Department: 510 Shift: 1st </p><p>Job Summary: Develops programs to use on CMM for dimensional inspection of manufactured product. Uses CMM and other Monitoring and Measuring Equipment (M&ME) to inspect product for dimensional conformance according to production schedule. Reads and interprets Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data. Complies with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements; supports business goals and objectives.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:  Reads and understands blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions including GD&T data on machine prints  Program and use CMM to perform in process or final layout on components and analyze features to GD&T requirements.  Works with and manipulates CAD models  Inspects, maintains, and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for inspection and machining.  Generate inspection reports and FAI reports.  Requires minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload according to production schedule to meet manufacturing needs.  Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at end of shift.  Performs other duties as assigned. .
