<p> Millington High School Varsity Football Head Coach</p><p>December 18, 2017</p><p>Effective Date: 2018/2019 season</p><p>Qualifications: The following criteria will be used to determine the most qualified candidate:</p><p>1. Must be able to relate and communicate well to high school students, parents, high school personnel, school and district administration, and the general public.</p><p>2. Must have three to five years of coaching experience at the high school level.</p><p>3. Previous high school assistant varsity football coaching experience preferred.</p><p>4. Must lead, organize, and supervise a total athletic program.</p><p>5. Build and strengthen our existing program while heightening and fostering high expectations for future success.</p><p>6. Foster a culture of sportsmanship, character, and leadership that will help student-athletes grow and develop on and off the field.</p><p>7. Develop a sound long-term strategic plan and vision for the Millington Community Schools’ football program.</p><p>8. Demonstrate the capacity and leadership necessary to design clinics, staff meetings, summer camps, and off-season programs that ensure staff awareness and commitment concerning program expectations.</p><p>9. Participate in the budgeting process with the Athletic Director.</p><p>10. Maintain positive public relations with news media, parents, and officials.</p><p>11. Foster a positive working relationship with the school’s and district’s administration.</p><p>12. Have a strong commitment to academic achievement.</p><p>13. Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina to meet the requirements of the position.</p><p>14. Must be able to pass a criminal-records background check.
