<p> Team Jeopardy!</p><p>NAME OF ACTIVITY UNIT: Making Decisions</p><p>TASK: Define terms related to making decisions.</p><p>ACTIVITY TYPE: SCANS, Integration</p><p>APPROXIMATE TIME: One class period</p><p>MATERIALS: Jeopardy questions (different levels of difficulty)</p><p>PROCEDURE:</p><p>1. Divide students into three or four teams.</p><p>2. Explain the rules of jeopardy. Have a different category for each vocabulary term. Within each category, have three levels of difficulty, each successive level being worth more points. </p><p>3. Instead of using buzzers, consider using some type of action, such as the first team to raise their flag, to determine which team can answer the question.</p><p>4. Once a team has been called upon, they have five seconds to answer the question. In the event that they miss the question, the other teams get to try to answer it.</p><p>5. If a team does not answer a question correctly, they lose the number of points the question was worth. Points are also deducted for misbehavior of any team member.</p><p>6. Remind the students that their answers must be given in the form of a question.</p><p>ENRICHMENT: Include vocabulary terms from other subject areas or previously studied units as daily doubles.</p>
