(Follow Up) Has your mom or dad helped you find something lost before?</p><p>(4) Imagine you were the big sister, how would you have helped the little girl find her bear? (Answer) Any logical answer. (Answer) Any logical answer. (Follow Up) How would you feel? Activities</p><p>1. Draw your favorite stuffed animal. Describe it in your opus.</p><p>2. Tell about a time you lost something you loved. How did you get it back?</p><p>3. Make a list of the places the girl looked for it her bear. </p><p>4. Make a Missing poster for the little girl’s bear. Use descriptive words so anyone reading the poster would recognize the bear if they saw it. </p><p>Introduction</p><p>1. Have a stuffed bear on the desk. Ask the students if they have an animal they really love. Say, “Today we are going to read a book about a girl who loses her favorite bear.”</p><p>2. When the students come in pretend you have lost something. Look around and have them look also. Say, “Today we are going to read a story about a girl who loses something.”</p><p>3. Have pictures of toys on the desk. When the students come in have them tell about their favorite toy. What would they do it they lost it?
