<p>Clark Garden Begun in 1967 with a gift by Mrs. Clark Diffenback, the Clark Garden features many conifers, hollies, and other plants which provide ornamental interest November through April. The plantings border the former turf research area developed as a small golf course. The garden includes new introductions and proven favorites. Plant Hightlights: Asters flowers (Sep) Clematis heracleifolia flowers (Aug) Solidago flowers (Sep)</p><p>Worrilow Hall Garden Begun in 1988 to further extend plant collections for teaching purposes, a series of curvilinear mounds and beds display an extensive collection of viburnums, witchhazels, native magnolias, and hornbeams. Also tucked into this garden are a number of rare shrubs and trees seldom seen in gardens and landscapes. The plantings include several hollies and magnolias, two of Dr. Dunham’s favorite groups of plants. Plant Hightlights: Hydrangea quercifolia Magnolia × loebneri ‘Leonard Messell’</p>
