<p> Frequently Asked Questions: Students</p><p>How do I sign up? Student signup takes place online. Please click the link. We require a 2 hour minimum to volunteer. </p><p>Where will I work? Students support us mostly in our Thrift Shop, but we allow seasonal opportunities for student in the Food Pantry. Please check the calendar.</p><p>Where do I enter? Weekdays, Enter the door by the “Office” sign on the left side of our building and ask for Sharla at the lobby Intake desk. Weekends (Saturday/ Sunday), enter through the front Thrift Store doors and let the Security Guard know that you are on the student volunteer list. </p><p>What do I bring? </p><p> a. Signed Volunteer Waiver (if you are under 18)</p><p> b. Your cell phone</p><p> c. Volunteer Form (if you need service hours)</p><p>We do not have space for devices, backpacks, or other electronics, please keep these items securely locked in your car. Our office is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen.</p><p>What do I wear? </p><p> a. Modest comfortable clothing</p><p> b. Closed toe shoes</p><p> c. No flip flops or sandals</p><p>Can I bring a friend? Yes! Just be sure they sign up and bring their signed waiver too.</p><p>Are their snacks? Yes! We have free snacks and drinks in our breakroom and we have a soda machine.</p><p>What if I need a form signed? If you have the form on hand, any onsite manager may sign. </p><p>If you need to request a letter, please email Sharla Calloway. Call Sharla Calloway at 678-387-4471 or send an email to [email protected]. </p><p>Student Rules for Volunteering:</p><p> Waivers are required.</p><p> No one under the age of 13 may volunteer with us</p><p> Students 13-15 may volunteer with a parent present at all times and waiver</p><p> Teens 16 and older may volunteer alone-with a parent signature and waiver</p><p> Please arrive on time and we require a minimum of 2 hours of work support</p><p> Please stay in your area except to go to bathroom or our breakroom</p><p> Never give any client or volunteer a ride unless you know them personally or address questions</p><p> Don’t give anyone, except staff, personal information (phone, address, etc.)</p><p> You may shop for Thrift Shop items, but do so AFTER your shift </p>
