<p> Michigan Business Brokers Association - West</p><p>Minutes from November 13, 2012 Meeting called to order by, Mark Andresky at 11:42 am Present – Larry Baumgart, Mark Andresky, Jon Siebers, Bob Fuehr, Allan Reider, John Meyering</p><p>Absent: Dan Butler</p><p>Minutes of September 11, 2012 were reviewed and approved.</p><p>Treasurer’s report – Bank balance reconciled at $4,992.23. The Treasurer’s report was reviewed and approved. A budget was presented, discussed and approved.</p><p>Membership report --</p><p>Alex Fedorowych’s application was approved.</p><p>There was discussion about having membership goals. The goals are to include trying to get professionals from the insurance, and title industry as well as media members.</p><p>A membership committee was established including Jon Sieber, and Allan Reider. Mark Andresky was going to ask Dan Butler if he was interested in participating.</p><p>Education report – </p><p>John Meyering reviewed the current educational schedule.</p><p>November will be Jim Mersman, CPA talking about financial statements Jon Sieber and another member from his firm will be discussing non-disclosure agreements and non-compete agreements in December. January will be a holiday party and February will be a presentation on the liquor control commission and liquor licenses. Other ideas were discussed including confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, software packages such as BVX, writing confidential business reviews, successor liability, state form 1027 and tax clearance.</p><p>Web site –Allan will send out a report on November 12th. </p><p>Other business – Mark Andresky will present the slate for 2013 officer to the group at the November meeting..</p><p>Meeting adjourned at 11:35.</p><p>Respectfully submitted, Larry Baumgart, Secretary</p>
