<p> Witness Statement of a 911 Call</p><p>911 Operator- 911 What’s your emergency?</p><p>Martha Monroe- I just blew my husband’s brains out.</p><p>911 Operator- WOAH! Ma’am why did you do that?</p><p>Martha Monroe- It was the only way to stop his abuse. I’m not proud of it but I had to end it.</p><p>911 Operator- Ma’am I need to know how this happened.</p><p>Martha Monroe- I walked into my bedroom and shot him in his sleep.</p><p>911 Operator- So you killed him in his sleep? I thought he was beating you.</p><p>Martha Monroe- Well it hasn’t happened yet tonight, but it’s gone on for far too long and I was fearful for my life.
