A total of 12 individuals were present on the web call.</p><p>The February General Membership Meeting of the MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum was held on Thursday, February 19th, at Express Scripts (Evans Avenue), starting at 2:00 p.m. </p><p>MCPF President Shawnee McDonough welcomed all in attendance, including the Great Plains Contingency Planners Group from Nebraska joining via web conference. </p><p>A. Treasurer’s Report The Treasurer’s Report was provided by Marc Stephenson. The group has a balance of approximately $8,300 in the checking account. Membership Report The Membership Report was provided by Marybeth Edwards. There are currently 57 paid members, and the annual membership fee is due by the end of March. Policy development, on the other hand, is properly done in advance.</p><p> Social media is a force to be reckoned with. It can be a force for good and utilized to help tell “your” story.
