<p>Job Description</p><p>Job title: Assistant Membership Development Co-ordinator</p><p>Job reference: WT0574</p><p>Department: Supporter Marketing</p><p>Reporting to: Membership Development Coordinator</p><p>Location: Office – Grantham</p><p>Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week</p><p>Contract: Permanent </p><p>Funded: Non-funded</p><p>Job Summary</p><p>To plan, negotiate, deliver and review the provision of high quality venues and events for the deployment of Woodland Trusts Membership Development officers, so that recruitment targets, key performance indicators and return on investment is achieved.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Responsibility Research and identify key venues for Woodland Trust Membership Development Officers (MDO) to attend, that offer the best opportunity for meeting targets and raising awareness of the Woodland Trust.</p><p>Maintain regular contact with decision makers at new and existing venues, managing business relations between the WT and venues to increase the number of times that MDO’s can attend and look to improve the position and frequency to increase quality conversations and membership sales. </p><p>Ensure all documentation, checks and information required by venues and by Membership Development Officers are completed accurately and delivered to time, including risk assessments, passes, directions and special instructions to ensure all events are attended in an efficient and effective manner.</p><p>Maintain a detailed record of all event / location bookings; the MDO attending and ensure that MDO’s are updated of their schedule of locations. Negotiate with venues to ensure ‘best use’ of Trust funds, through discounts and privileged rates. Manage against budget.</p><p>Working closely with the Membership Development Coordinator to ensure that all bookings are evaluated and </p><p>1 of 2</p><p> recorded in a central system.
