<p>For Students Engineering Design in Oregon Science Classrooms Page 1 of 4 Car Building Instructions for The Ultimate Speed Challenge</p><p>CONSTRUCTION 1. Collect materials: Ruler; Wheels and Axles (LEGO); Bearings (straw); Chassis (craft stick); Scissors; Marker; and Fastener.</p><p>2. Measure and cut:</p><p> a. Bearings</p><p> b. Chassis</p><p>3. Use masking tape to fasten straw bearing to the mark on your chassis.</p><p>4. Insert one LEGO axle into a bearing. Repeat for both sides.</p><p>5. Attach one wheel to each side of each axle. Repeat for both sides.</p><p>6. When you are done, turn your car over. </p><p>7. Don’t forget to decorate. Use your imagination!</p><p>8.
