Cable rack shall not be considered a top support and cannot be relied upon to provide structural support of equipment frames. </p><p>2.5.9 The uprights of adjacent frames and cabinets shall be joined together per manufacturer’s specifications and at the top and bottom to form a continuous lineup. </p><p>Post Change: 2.5.6.a) In lineups where 7’-0” or 9’-0” frames are the primary or only support for overhead cable rack, the equipment frame shall be secured to building floor with four anchors and junction to adjacent frames in accordance to paragraph 2.5.1.
