<p> Title: Asset Fiscal year Change Module: Financial Accounting Course: Fixed Assets</p><p>Work Instruction</p><p>Asset Fiscal year Change AJRW</p><p>Purpose Use this procedure to open a new year for the posting of assets.</p><p>Trigger Perform this procedure when it is necessary to open a new year for the posting of assets.</p><p>Prerequisites</p><p> None.</p><p>Menu Path Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:</p><p> Select Accounting  Financial Accounting  Fixed Assets  Periodic processing  Fiscal year change to go to the Asset fiscal year change screen.</p><p>Transaction Code AJRW</p><p>Additional Information</p><p>No transactions can be posted in a new fiscal year before the fiscal year change is run. At the change, the asset values from the previous year are carried forward cumulatively into the new year </p><p>Once the fiscal year change has taken place, you can post to assets using asset value dates into the new year.
