For example, youth workers, alcohol and drug workers / clinicians, child safety officers, youth justice officers, residential support workers, youth support coordinators, school-based youth health nurses, indigenous health workers, mental health professionals, guidance officers, employment and vocational staff and other similar professionals are likely to benefit most from the course's content.</p><p>The training provides an overview of youth methamphetamine use including:</p><p>- Historical trends in methamphetamine use - Recent changes in methamphetamine trends across Australia - How methamphetamine works - Routes of administration - Potential risks and harms - Harm reduction for methamphetamine users - Treatment approaches to methamphetamine use - Key messages for workers engaging with people who use methamphetamine</p><p>Places are limited.
