Draw a picture of your favorite food falling from the sky.</p><p>2. Make a menu of your favorite food items and put down which day you would like to have them fall.</p><p>3. Write down your favorite part of the story and why it’s your favorite.</p><p>4. Take the word “meatballs” and see how many words you can make.</p><p>Introductions</p><p>1. Have a bunch of yarn cut up and place it in a bag. Have them reach in and feel it and guess what it is.- Lets find out.</p><p>2. Have pictures of different food and discuss which they like best. – Lets read and see what foods are in this book that you like.</p><p>3. Have pictures of spaghetti and meatballs. Discuss whether they like them or not. – Lets read about meatballs.</p><p>4. Have a weather report that includes the forecast “cloudy with a chance of meatballs” in it. Ask children if they have ever saw meatballs falling out of the sky?
