Introductions

1. Have a bunch of yarn cut up and place it in a bag. Have them reach in and feel it and guess what it is.- Lets find out.

2. Have pictures of different food and discuss which they like best. – Lets read and see what foods are in this book that you like.

3. Have pictures of spaghetti and meatballs. Discuss whether they like them or not. – Lets read about meatballs.

4. Have a weather report that includes the forecast “cloudy with a chance of meatballs” in it. Ask children if they have ever saw meatballs falling out of the sky? Today that is the name of our story, let’s read and see if this really happens and what causes this strange occurrence.
