This document and the interface service are only for the use of NHS organisations enabled and authorised to use NHS Jobs.</p><p>File contents The contents of the XML file will conform to the following rules: </p><p> Each file starts with the statement <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>. </p><p> Each application starts with the <application> tag and ends with the </application> tag. </p><p>The XML file will contain both the document type definition file (DTD) and the pre- employment check information for any selected applications. Example content for an XML file is in Appendix 5.</p><p>Element definitions The following table explains the content of each element. Where an element has a fixed list of values, the values are either included within the table on in an appendix.
