<p> Beneficiaries and Community Stakeholders Work Group</p><p>Overall Goal: To engage persons who are dually eligible and representative community stakeholders, in helping inform North Carolina’s Dually Eligible Planning Grant.</p><p>Overall Objectives: • To provide an ongoing means for interested persons to submit ideas for ways to improve the care of persons who are dually eligible and save cost. • To reach out to persons who are dually eligible to solicit their interests and views on ways to improve the current system of care and about the options being considered/proposed by the Dually Eligible work groups. </p><p>Meeting Objectives: • Identify 3-4 opportunities within the next 30-45 days to solicit dual eligible beneficiary input and opportunities within the next 30-45 days for local community stakeholder input • Identify and strategize other ways to get input (e.g., use of SHIIP volunteers for one-on-one interviews with beneficiaries, use of e-suggestion box), especially for engaging the hard-to-reach • Discuss questions and tools that can be consistently used with beneficiaries and community stakeholders • Get commitment from specific individuals/organizations to help arrange/ conduct input sessions</p><p>Agenda</p><p>9.00 am Welcome & Introductions Give Overview of Project (Goal, deliverables, current status, time-frame) Explain Purpose of Work Group</p><p>9:30 am Identify opportunities for Beneficiary and Stakeholder input Beneficiaries Stakeholders 10.00am Identify and strategize alternate ways of getting input </p><p>10.30am Break</p><p>10.45 am Discuss questions and other tools to be used at sessions </p><p>11.30 am Obtain support and commitment from workgroup membership and discuss next steps </p>
