Scheckner</p><p>Meeting Began at 1:00 pm</p><p>Sixth Annual SSHGS Student Essay Contest</p><p> The following students were presented awards for the contest: o 1st Place Alexandra Lehaf o 2nd Place Erin Mulligan o 3rd Place Dylan Sprayberry</p><p>Approval of Minutes</p><p> The minutes from the March 5, 2014 meeting were approved.</p><p>Committee Assignment Reports</p><p> Ballots for voting on members of the AFT Executive Board will be given out this month.</p><p> Assessment Reports are due by June 1st.</p><p> WAC will be holding a writing contest this month.</p><p> Michelle Dunn (Registrar) will be meeting with FAEC. Unit should submit questions for Michelle to FAEC.</p><p> TLTR Grant Applications are due by April 25. American Democracy Program, through CCEC, will assist Faculty with Service Learning if requested.</p><p>Pathways Program</p><p> The Dean presented a proposal to the Unit to set up a post – graduation Pathways Program in the School. The Unit endorsed the Dean’s proposal with the understanding that the details still need developing.</p><p>Scholar’s Day Representative</p><p> Carter Meyer was elected by the Unit to continue her service as the School’s Scholar Day Representative. </p><p>Announcements</p><p> Scholar’s Day will take place on April 30.</p><p> Jenn Mazza’s Retirement Party will take place on April 30.</p><p> Book Requests for Summer 2014 courses are due to the Library.</p><p> Those who need items to be put in storage now for the B-Wing Renovation please talk to the Dean.</p><p> Dumbledore’s Army is collecting books to distribute to local schools.</p><p> CRWT students will present their papers tomorrow at the Spiritual Center.</p><p> The next SSHGS Colloquium Event will take place on April 16.</p><p> The Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies will host an event about the Pope & Mussolini on April 23.</p><p> New Europe with focus on Muslims Conference will take place from 9:45-2:00 pm in the Pavilion on April 14.</p><p>Meeting adjourned at 2:20 pm Minutes faithfully submitted by William Russo, Secretarial Assistant 1.</p>
