<p> Job Aid</p><p>Creating a Cost Receipt</p><p>Step Action 1. Receipts are created to indicate what goods or services have been received. Accounts Payable uses this information to determine when it is appropriate to pay the suppliers.</p><p>This job aid applies to Blanket Orders. To receive against a regular order, see the Quantity Receipt job aid. A cost receipt allows you to receive partial dollar amounts 2. Only orders that have been issued as Blanket Orders that Require Receiving are eligible for Cost Receipts.</p><p>Step Action 3. Go to Document Search as follows: </p><p>On the far left of any BuyWays page, in the icon ribbon, go to the Orders & </p><p>Documents icon and Click on Search Documents:</p><p>5. In the resulting page, make sure you have Purchase Order selected in the Search field. </p><p>Enter your PO number and click </p><p>6.</p><p>Click on the PO ID in the search results 7. Click the Available Actions dropdown in the upper right of the page, and Select Create Cost Receipt:</p><p>9. Click the button:</p><p>10. The receipt displays. Update the line(s) with the dollar amount you wish to receive.</p><p>12. Click the Save Updates button.</p><p>13. Click the Complete button.</p><p>14. The Cost Receipt has been created for the PO and Accounts Payable will be able to pay when the voucher is entered.</p><p>You can print a copy of the Cost Receipt and the PO for your records by clicking on the printer icons.</p><p>To exit, click the Home Shop icon in the icon ribbon to the far left of the page.</p><p>15.
