<p> Snippet Holder</p><p>A little container to put all the little threads in while doing hand sewing—great to take with you to keep your mess in one place!</p><p>Requirements (2) 10” squares of coordinating fabric -- sewing notion prints look cute. (3) Small buttons to coordinate with our fabric Matching Ribbon, Optional.</p><p>Instructions: Cut (2) 10 “equilateral triangles (all sides same length) from the squares. (the larger the triangles the larger the container. Place right sides together and stitch ¼ “seam. Stitch all sides leaving 2 ‘opening to turn. Trim Corners but do not clip threads. Turn right side out and press. Hand Stitch the opening closed. Top stitch 1/8 “from edge all three sides. Match two points and sew a 1/8” seam from the fold up about 1-1/2” from the bottom. Do this on all three corners; this will make your snippet holder stand up. Hand stitching also an option. Turn down each point and secure with a button. Extra tip: Ribbon run under the flaps will act as a drawstring to keep your snippets from falling out. Designer unknown.
