<p>Meath County Council </p><p>Tidy Towns Grant Guidelines</p><p>The purpose of this grant is to assist Tidy Towns groups in their efforts to improve their town or village and facilitate its participation in the National Tidy Towns competition. A grant up to a maximum of €1,000 or 90% of the cost of the works may be made available to successful applicants. The amount of grant paid to an individual group will depend on take-up of the scheme in the county and overall expenditure incurred by each group.</p><p>Conditions & Guidelines of the Scheme:</p><p>• Tidy Towns committees must enter the National Tidy Towns Competition and submit proof of this with their application.</p><p>• Tidy Towns committee must have a current Bank or Credit union account in the name of the association.</p><p>• Groups should be affiliated to Meath Public Participation Network.</p><p>• Labour costs are ineligible for funding.</p><p>• Groups/Organisations can only apply for one grant , multiple applicants will not be accepted.</p><p>• Recipients may be asked for a report on completion of particular projects.</p><p>• Tax Number/Charity Number is required for all grants.</p><p>• All funded projects/activities must be located within County Meath.</p><p>• All projects must display recognition of Meath County Council’s support.</p><p>• Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
