<p> SQ3R—Lesson Plan Format</p><p>I. Goal(s)—Broad statements, cover several instructional periods.</p><p>II. Objectives—What will students know or be able to do at the end of the lesson? Identify the content standard(s) addressed, if applicable.</p><p>III. Teaching/Learning Process A. Introduction/Motivation—How will you engage the students? What will you do to get them interested? </p><p>SURVEY</p><p>QUESTION</p><p>B. Teaching Learning/Activities—These activities must develop learning objectives. </p><p>READ</p><p>RECITE</p><p>C. Closure—Summarize and relate to future lessons. What will you do to wrap up the lesson? How could you briefly review important topics or concepts that were covered during this lesson?</p><p>REVIEW</p><p>ACTIVITY—Concept Mapping</p><p>D. Accommodations—How will the needs of all students be met? IV. Media/Materials/Equipment—Use a variety to more effectively address learning styles, differences, etc.</p><p>V. Supplemental Activities</p><p>VI. Assignments</p><p>VII. Assessment/Evaluation Formal—Grade related, not necessary to have in every lesson plan.</p><p>Informal—Include each day. How will you know lesson objectives have been met?</p><p>VIII. Professional Reflection</p>
