Icebreaker: Scenes from a Cup 5 minutes 6:50 - volunteer actor from each table chooses an action from their cup – shows the paper only to the catechist, who will let the members know when they have guessed correctly - actor must mime the action without speaking or using sound effects, trying to get the other members to guess what it is - if time allows, another volunteer can choose another action from the cup 3. There are 10 so that you have a choice of which to do, and don’t try to read all of them. - candidates take turns reading saints’ bios out loud - connect saint’s actions to Beatitudes using handout, including how the saint went against what society expected - each candidate picks a saint bio to answer questions about individually (the same as the one they read or a different one they like better) - includes recognizing attributes of the saint in their picture(s) from the bio 6. Reminders & Closing Prayer (litany of the saints) 5 minutes 8:25 - candidates & catechists may each take home a prayer card from the small envelope

Homework for Candidates: - begin working on Confirmation Name Essay (due November 25) by starting your research.
