Should Fairfax County close school for the day, Hunter Mill will most likely be closed. If Fairfax County should have a delayed opening, we will open at 9:00 a.m. (doors will open at 8:45 a.m.). If the County announces an early closing, Half Day students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. All other children must be picked up by 1:00 p.m. School will close at 1:00 p.m. If Fairfax County Schools have a planned closing and there is a weather emergency, parents will be notified via email and a recording on the school’s voicemail. </p>
