<p> Fremont Education Foundation Guy Emanuele Sports Fund</p><p>2016-2017 FUSD Elementary School Basketball League Grant $200/Site</p><p>Background: The Guy Emanuele Sports Fund was first started with a generous donation from retired School Board Trustee Guy Emanuele to support after school sports at the high school level. As funds were made more available, the Fremont Education Foundation began distributing grants to elementary schools in the FUSD who participated in the district’s elementary school after school basketball program.</p><p>Purpose: Each grant shall not exceed $200 per school. The site administrator, in conjunction with the coaches, shall decide how to use the grant. Examples of use: defer the costs of referees, defer the costs of uniforms, defer the costs for the tournament, etc.</p><p>Grant Process:</p><p> FUSD Elementary School Principals can apply using the grant application beginning January 9, 2017.
