Aim: </p><p> What hardships did a slave face living on a plantation?</p><p> What type of punishment did a slave receive for trying to escape? </p><p> How did African slaves deal with severe punishment? Do Now: Is it possible to revolt against slavery? Explain your answer. Word of the Day:</p><p>1 Slave Codes- somebody who is forced to work for somebody else for no payment and is regarded as the property of that person.
