INTRODUCTION</p><p>The main responsibility of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) is to ensure the safety of life, the protection of property and the well-being of the public they serve. PWS delivery depends on efficient and effective communication with users. Recent developments in communications technology provide NMHSs with many more communication options. </p><p>The purpose of this survey is to learn how NMHSs use media for delivering Public Weather Services, so that WMO can assist NMHSs in using new communications technologies. </p><p>This survey contains only five questions.
