<p> GRADUATE NONRESIDENT FEE REMISSION</p><p>Overview The Office of Graduate Studies is authorized by the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System to offer remission of nonresident portions of tuition costs to selected students. The availability of these funds is contingent upon legislative appropriation. These funds are reserved specifically for graduate students with nonresident status and are distributed on the basis of academic performance. Funds will be distributed Fall, Spring and Summer terms. Final decisions as to the awarding of these funds are made by authorized officials of the University. </p><p>Eligibility Applicants must have a “nonresident” status, enrolled in a graduate degree program at UW-Whitewater in “good standing”, and registered for at least nine (9) credits in the term seeking a remission, (at least five during summer term). Applicants must not be under contract as a graduate assistant—or if working as a graduate assistant, under contract for less than 14 hours per week. Online Courses are not eligible for a fee remission.</p><p>Application To apply for a nonresident fee remission, applicants must complete the application on the reverse side.</p><p>Application Applicants must apply each term (Fall, Spring, Summer) they Deadline desire a remission.
