<p> HURCON LEVELS</p><p>The HURCON level is determined by the Commanding General, as outlined in the Fort Rucker RMOPS. Note that the determination of HURCON level is based on 50 kt winds, sustained. </p><p>HURCON 5: The normal readiness status during hurricane season (01 June – 30 November).</p><p>HURCON 4: A hurricane is a possible threat to Fort Rucker with sustained 50 kt winds forecast to arrive in 72 hours.</p><p>HURCON 3: A hurricane is a probable threat to Fort Rucker with sustained 50 kt winds forecast to arrive in 48 hours. </p><p>HURCON 2: A hurricane is a definite threat to Fort Rucker with sustained 50 kt winds forecast to arrive in 24 hours.</p><p>HURCON 1: A hurricane with sustained 50 kt winds is expected to arrive at Fort Rucker in 12 hours. </p>
