Now, therefore,</p><p>Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:</p><p>Transfer of armory</p><p>SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 25-1-1660 of the 1976 Code, the State Budget and Control Board, effective April 1, 2003, is authorized to transfer ownership of a surplus National Guard Armory located at 1500 Rogers Street, Beaufort, South Carolina, to the City of Beaufort.</p><p>Time effective</p><p>SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.</p><p>Ratified the 16th day of April, 2003.</p><p>Became law without the signature of the Governor -- 4/23/03. </p><p>______</p>
