In doing so, the following provisions are agreed to:</p><p>1. The software is being purchased by FAU/OIT on a fiscal year basis. OIT pays to license the software yearly. Future updates may NOT be provided.</p><p>2. By requesting the software be installed on your FAU computer, you agree to purchase from OIT a license for each computer you wish to install BESR desktop software on for the initial cost of $50/each with an annual renewal cost of $50/each per fiscal year. </p><p>3. You agree to permit OIT to charge the account you identify below each fiscal year after July 1 st for the cost of continuing to license the software. </p><p>4. At such time OIT does not elect to maintain & renew BESR, you understand there will be no further upgrades available without your department purchasing the Symantec software through an external vendor with your departmental funding.</p><p>5. OIT assumes no responsibility for missed backups or files that cannot be recovered should the need arise.</p><p>6.
