JAWAD Abstract The first assured record of the ocean sunfish, Mola mola (Linnaeus, 1758), in Omani waters is reported based on a specimen of 1350 mm total length which has stranded on the coast of Quriat City, 120 km north of Muscat, the capital of Oman.
