A legend gives explanations for the symbols on a map.</p><p>Structure: is something built by people, like a building.</p><p>Inventory map: is a map that shows graphic details, such as seats in a stadium or buildings in a city.</p><p>Thematic map: is a map that shows populations or natural resources, such as a weather map.</p><p>Mobility map: is a map that shows locations of streets and roads, such as a road map.</p><p>General reference map: is a map that shows physical features, such as mountains, rivers and lakes.</p>
